The programme includes 2 terms of 11 weeks each at the Culinary Arts Academy in Le Bouveret, Switzerland, plus a paid internship anywhere in the world.

The program is based in Le Bouveret, located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Student accommodation, meals, and insurance are included in the program fee. As well as global internships at top restaurants or hotels.

      1. European Culinary Essentials I (practical, 12hrs/week, 8 credits)
      2. European Culinary Essentials II (practical, 12hrs/week, 8 credits)
      3. Culinary Hygiene & Safety Standards (Theory, 4hrs/week, 4 credits)
      4. French or German (optional, 4hrs/week, no credits, additional costs)
    2. You can stop here, and graduate with a:
      1. Swiss Certificate in Culinary Arts Essentials

Or continue further to:

  1. Term 2 (11 weeks)
    1. Cutting Edge Culinary Skills
      1. International & Fusion Cuisine (practical, 12hrs/week, 8 credits)
      2. The Art of Food Plating & Styling (practical, 12hrs/week, 8credits)
      3. Specialized Diets & Balanced Nutrition (Theory, 4hrs/week, 4 credits)
      4. French or German (optional, 4hrs/week, no credits, additional costs)
    2. Internship: Worldwide (local conditions apply) or paid in Switzerland (6 months)
    3. And finally graduate with a:
      1. Swiss Diploma in Culinary Arts

Requirements

  • Completed secondary school education (IB Diploma, IBCP Diploma, Maturité, Abitur, French Bac, 2 A-levels, high school diploma or equivalent).
  • English language proficiency.
  • Recommended minimum age of 18 years
