France

France is the undisputed heart of the culinary world — a country where food is culture, art, and national identity. Famous for its wine, cheese, patisserie, and the chefs who have defined fine dining globally, France is the natural destination for anyone serious about a culinary education that carries real weight.

French culinary tradition spans centuries, from the royal kitchens of Versailles to the birth of the modern restaurant in 18th-century Paris. Today that tradition continues in programs that pair classical technique with contemporary culinary thinking — honoring the past while preparing students for modern kitchens.

Paris is where that tradition is most alive. Home to more Michelin-starred restaurants than almost any other city on earth, the French capital is a living classroom — from its legendary market halls and artisan producers to its world-renowned restaurants and pastry shops. Studying here means being surrounded by culinary excellence at every turn, inside the kitchen and out.

Switzerland

Switzerland ranks among the world’s safest and most prosperous countries — with a high standard of living, low unemployment, and a uniquely cosmopolitan character shaped by four national languages and a population where English is widely spoken.

Famous for watches, chocolate, cheese, and world-class education, Switzerland has been home to leading culinary and hospitality schools for over 100 years. That tradition began in the mountains above Montreux in the late 1800s, and endures today in programs that blend Swiss hospitality heritage with modern management thinking from leading US and UK universities.
